Our Goal
To provide relevant and affordable accounting and business management services to micro and small businesses in Sydney and the Central Coast, NSW.
Many small business owners are very good at their core business and are often ‘technical’ people, specialists in their own field; for example, retailers, wholesalers, tradespeople, IT professionals, etc. However, technical abilities and skills alone do not guarantee business success or long-term sustainability.
At MYC Partners, we provide business management solutions to the ever changing business environment and in particular addressing small business needs.
The Partners:
Julie Blatch
Julie has worked in both professional accounting and corporate accounting positions and has held senior management roles. She has been working as a Tax Accountant since 2001 and is now a practicing accountant and registered Tax Agent in her own business, MYC Partners, providing professional Accounting, Tax and Business advice. She is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and committed to continuous professional development. Julie is currently undertaking her Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting).
Julie has over 25 years experience in business management across many industry sectors. She has created and managed businesses in the services and retail industries, in metropolitan, regional and country areas. In 1989 her business, WORKZONE Personnel, was awarded the Telstra Small Business Award (Northern Territory)
She has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with over 20 years experience in Business, Finance and Accounting training, delivering training nationally for Registered Training Organisations, Business organizations and individuals.
She has also assisted many SME businesses to enhance their operational and strategic focus through business coaching and consulting.
Julie is a voluntary member of the Business Mentoring Program on the Central Coast which assists small business operators to identify ways in which they can improve and grow their business and then works with them to facilitate the improvements and growth.
Julie is passionate about giving business managers and operators “ownership” of their business’ financial health through assisting them:
- to understand their tax and corporate compliance responsibilities,
- to identify cashflow problems and solutions, and
- to make better business decisions by truly understanding the businesses current and potential performance.
Tim Blatch
Tim has an extensive background in infrastructure, administration, business management and accounting, with experience in both the public and private sectors, and is a member of the MYOB Professional Partner Program. He is a business consultant and accountant providing professional Accounting, Tax and Business services. He has a Diploma of Accounting and a University Certificate in Business Studies
Tim’s early background was in land surveying, from where he moved into airport development, maintenance and operations. As the Operations Manager of the Alice Springs Airport, his management skills were recognised by the Central Australia Institute of Management when awarded ”Manager of the Year” in 1991.
He has managed not-for-profit organizations and developed small businesses in his own right, which began his interest in business development and accounting. Formal studies then consolidated practical experience to give Tim a well rounded approach, with the focus on being able to assist other businesses to reach their potential.
With extensive experience in operations, management and accounting, and qualifications in surveying, business and accounting, Tim can provide hands-on technical insight to the operations, management and accounting needs of clients.
